[3F] Boulder Mantle Workshop

[3F] Boulder Mantle Workshop

Learn the essential outdoor climbing technique of mantling at the "Akebono Boulder" mantle wall on Beta's 3rd floor.

This is a move rarely practiced in gym climbing. Learn it at Akebono Boulder before your outdoor debut! Perfect for repeated practice too!

What is Mantling?

Mantling is a unique movement technique used to top out on boulders or rock formations, distinct from climbing the face itself.

Since this move is rarely practiced in climbing gyms, many climbers struggle with it or feel confused when encountering it for the first time outdoors.

In this workshop, we'll demonstrate and teach the key techniques of mantling, including hand and foot placement, and weight transfer methods.

Participants will also practice hands-on and receive immediate feedback and advice.
