
Ice Climbing Workshop
Ice Wall & Frozen Waterfall - Introduction & Advanced Courses
We offer ice climbing workshops in outdoor settings. Two courses are available: an 'Introduction' class for those new to ice climbing, and an 'Advanced' class for experienced climbers looking to improve their skills. The introduction class takes place on artificial ice walls, while the advanced class is conducted on natural frozen waterfalls.
Ice Climbing - Introduction
Overview
This workshop is designed for complete beginners and those new to ice climbing. All gear including ice axes, crampons, harnesses, and helmets are available for rental. You'll climb on top rope—no prior top rope or lead climbing experience required. Learn the fundamentals of ice climbing including basic stance, crampon kicking technique, and ice axe placement.
Location
Held at artificial ice walls.
Examples include: Fujimi Panorama Resort's Summit Fall, Minotogoya Sanso artificial ice wall, Akadake Kosen's Ice Candy, etc.
Requirements
Ability to bring clothing suitable for cold mountain conditions. For example, winter mountaineering gear or ski/snowboard wear.

Ice Climbing - Advanced Workshop
Overview
This workshop is for experienced climbers seeking to advance their skills. Those who can hike in snowy mountains are also welcome, even without prior ice climbing experience. Climbing is primarily top rope, but we can accommodate lead climbing and ice screw placement practice based on your skill level and requests.

Conducted on natural frozen waterfalls.
