Beta Climbing Gym | Monthly Labo Workshop

Monthly Labo

'Monthly Labo'

Using monthly problems that change each month, we explain techniques and movements. Participants will climb and receive advice to improve their skills and overcome weaknesses.

If you have monthly problems where you don't understand the movement, can't reproduce it, have weaknesses, or want to improve - please join us!

Beta's chief setter, Shun, will analyze and instruct individually. The participation requirement is being able to climb monthly problems (as we'll use them for the session). Even just one problem is OK.

This is also recommended for those who have just graduated from the Beginner Pack Plus but want to receive a bit more instruction. If you can't climb monthly problems yet but want instruction, please use our Personal Lessons.

Topics like dyno (lunge), cipher, kyo, toe hook, heel hook, cross moves, flagging - wanting to learn specific techniques is also welcome!

Also, Shun is 161cm tall, on the shorter side. Questions about reach, essential techniques for shorter climbers, smearing, and other concerns specific to shorter climbers are welcome.

Held on the 2nd Monday of every month!
