CAMP8 Slackline Gym

Greeting

Hello, I'm TORU, the manager of CAMP8 Slackline Gym.

We borrow the 3.5F free space at BETA CLIMBING GYM about 2 days a week to open our gym.

Slacklines are often placed in sports gyms and bouldering gyms, but I think there are people who are interested but don't know how to ride or play with them, or who want to use only the slackline.

I want to make this a gym that people who are interested in slacklining and those who want to practice with someone while exchanging information can use comfortably and with peace of mind.

TORU - Manager

What You Can Do at Our Gym

Slacklining has been featured on TV a lot lately, and I think many people have the image of it as an acrobatic sport where you use the line like a trampoline and jump.

In fact, the act of just walking, which seems plain, is very difficult and fun at first. There are various ways to play, such as longline (walking tens or hundreds of meters of line), highline (walking on a line stretched between mountains at high altitude), rodeo line, and dancing using the line.

Slackline - Static Tricks

At CAMP8 Slackline Gym, you can enjoy walking on the line and playing static tricks. (*Jumping tricks are prohibited)

Static Tricks is a way of playing by striking various poses on a belt-shaped line. It's interesting to find existing tricks on the internet and try them, or to create original tricks by referring to yoga or anime character poses.

Our gym is a place to play and practice freely.

For Slackline Beginners

For first-timers, we will support you so that you can do basic riding methods (one-leg stand, forward, backward, squat, side ride, turn) if you wish. Please use with confidence.
