Hello.

I'm Ayumi, providing A-yoga Movement program services at BETA CLIMBING GYM.

Since starting in October, watching everyone's backs as they focus intently on the walls, I've been moved once again by the joy of climbing and the high potential each person's body holds. In this process, I've realized again how important climbing habits, body mechanics, and physical awareness are in this sport.

I think many of you love climbing and are passionate about facing the wall to clear problems.

But like baseball and soccer players, everyone values not just the game but also basic training. To clear problems, it may seem like a detour, but why not take a moment to review your body mechanics?

Climbing is a "sport" where your body is your capital, and injuries and pain can easily occur.

To improve, you need to climb continuously without injury. For that, it's important to know your body properly - how to care for it, how to strengthen weak areas, and how to approach climbing when you have pain.

I offer personalized methods tailored to each individual, focusing on body mechanics and physical development, at special prices for BETA members.

  • Feel uncertain about body mechanics or experience pain during/after climbing
  • Don't know how to return after an injury

Process

① Counseling

Confirm goals and challenges, evaluate body mechanics. (Video analysis of climbing if needed)

② Training

Conduct training based on points identified in counseling. Mainly utilizing A-yoga movement training methods.

③ Home Training & Care Guidance

Teach training and care methods for home practice or before climbing.

Conditioning Fees

Special Price for BETA Members

60 min ¥7,000 (tax inc.)

Regular Pricing (Reference)

  • 60 min ¥12,000: Recommended for those visiting 1+ times per month.
  • 90 min ¥17,000: Recommended for first-timers / Most popular plan.
  • 120 min ¥23,000: Slow, thorough full-body treatment. For those who want proper care in one session.

Notes

  • Yoga mats are available for rent. Feel free to bring your own if preferred.
  • First-time participants must complete a consent form.
  • Those with illnesses or injuries may be declined or referred to medical facilities. Please inform us of any conditions when booking.
  • Non-BETA CLIMBING GYM members must register for membership.

Instructor

Representative, Physio Conditioning plus

A-yoga mind and Movement basic instructor, Physical Therapist

Bio: Extensive experience as a physical therapist in sports orthopedics, treating everything from post-surgery to ankle sprains, shoulder and back pain. Since 2014, works as a freelance Body Worker combining physical therapy skills with yoga and exercise, while maintaining part-time work at sports orthopedics. Also approximately 15 years as a trainer supporting American football teams from university to adult levels. Daily work involves addressing injuries, pain, body mechanics, and awareness, supporting everyone from general clients to athletes as individuals. Hobbies include outdoor activities in nature, mountains and sea.
