Post-Workshop Follow-up
Completing this beginner workshop does not mean you can immediately climb multi-pitch routes on natural rock.
Before climbing on natural rock, you need to understand safety management and practice until you can perform the sequence of actions smoothly.
Beta provides the following follow-up support for participants to make a safe outdoor multi-pitch debut.
1. Rope Practice Sessions
Every Monday from 7:00 PM
We hold rope practice sessions centered around those who have taken Beta's rope workshops (Lead/Multi). Beta staff are always present to help with practice. Solo participation is welcome. No participation fee required.
Learn more →2. Free Rope Gear Rental
Workshop participants can always rent ropes and gear (ATC, harness, quickdraws) for free. Please come and practice whenever convenient for you.
3. Outdoor Multi-Pitch Practice Sessions
We hold outdoor multi-pitch climbing practice sessions. Under staff safety management, participants pair up and climb. You essentially climb swinging leads on your own. On routes with not-too-difficult climbing levels, we thoroughly practice ropework.
Learn more →4. Custom Rope Workshops
We also offer workshops on individual topics such as rappelling and anchor building. As advanced techniques, we also provide instruction on provisional fixing, ascending, self-rescue, and hauling systems. Content and schedule can be arranged according to your requests.
You can take the “Multi-Pitch Climbing Beginner” workshop as many times as you like.
Let's firmly master multi-pitch etiquette!
