Mantle wall and reed wall of beta climbing gym [3F] held a dry touring session using an ice ax. The instructor is Nae Yagi, a professional ice climber.
In a session for dry touring beginners, we will give advice according to each level, such as how to use an ax and move while climbing a specially prepared session task.

It will be held twice a day, so please participate in the times that are convenient for you. Both sessions are 70 minutes.
The gym’s boulder wall is available before and after your session.

Also, those who participate in this session can climb the 3rd floor dry challenge without participating in the seminar.

Nae Yagi: Born in Osaka in 1984, professional ice climber. He has been involved in mountain climbing and climbing since childhood. He chose the professional path from the 2013 season, and was the first Japanese to participate in all ice climbing World Cup competitions.

[What to bring] Clothing suitable for ice climbing (easy-to-move clothes with long sleeves and long pants), ice ax, helmet, gloves (recommended for golf), climbing shoes, ice tools (optional)
There are rentals other than gloves.　Please come to the 3rd floor after picking it up on the 1st floor.

八木 名恵（やぎ・なえ）詳細プロフィール

八木 名恵（やぎ・なえ）、1984年大阪府生まれ、プロ・アイスクライマー。幼少期より山登り、そしてクライミングに親しむ。
01年の第6回近畿高校クライミング大会に優勝、その後のことを考えれば当然のように連覇した02年は、マレーシアで行なわれたアジアユース選手権でも3位入賞を果たし、“女子高生クライマーの星”として勇躍登場する。

高校卒業後、日本オリンピック委員会が将来のオリンピアン育成のために主催するJOCジュニアオリンピックカップ・ジュニアの部で優勝、国民体育大会成年女子の部2位（ともに03年）、第7回JFAユースチャンピオンシップ優勝（04年）、アジア選手権8位（05年）、日本各地での多くのカップ戦なども含めて好成績を残し続ける。

次世代のクライミング界を背負って立つクライマーと目されつつ、09年シーズンよりアイス・クライミングに徐々に軸足をシフトしている。「競技をして生きていく、食べていこうとしたときに、自分がトップに立てる場所を選んだ」と語る。 大学卒業後はパチンコ店経営の株式会社マルハンに所属。日本初の実業団クライマーとして活動、2013シーズンよりプロの道を選択し、日本人で初めてアイスクライミングのワールドカップ全戦に参戦。
