The first assignment is about 5th grade, so I’m going to do my best! !

In the beta, we hope that you will enjoy new challenges through the monthly challenges and check your progress through the tape challenges, which have long set cycles. The monthly assignments have a slightly different taste than the tape assignments, such as dynamic assignments, so be sure to give them a try!

Beta climbing gym course |Complete renewal

1F complete renewal completed

Complete renovation of the 1st floor has been completed. This time we have invited Daisuke Kasahara and Mei Ngasako as our guests.
The DK slab in a different dimension, Mei’s balance challenges, etc., made it interesting this time as well.
Please enjoy!

Guest setter

Daisuke Kasahara
“Slavic Magician” Daisuke Kasahara, also known as DK
This will be his second appearance in BETA. In the previous set, we rediscovered the Slavs with their un-Slavic moves and strength.

jmsca certified B class route setter
Currently working as a freelance route setter, he has also worked on sets for international tournaments.
Before becoming a setter, he was active as a player both domestically and internationally, and even won the Japan Cup.

Enjoy DK Slab again this time!
Mei Nagasako
Mei Nagasako from base camp.
This is the first appearance in BETA. First of all, my profile.

Born in Tokyo in 1995
Climbing instructor, route setter
arcteryx ambassador
He started bouldering when he was 10 years old, and was active as a training athlete in Tokyo when he was 14-16 years old.
He immigrated to Canada for about 5 years when he was 20 years old, and started route setting while living in Canada.
He is a JMSCA C-class route setter in Japan, gaining experience setting routes in official tournaments including the World Cup.

Many people may have seen it on SNS. Mei, who is petite, seems to value balance, delicate moves, and other elements that aren’t just reach or power.

Please look forward to it, little ones!

Enjoy, everyone! !
