On April 29th (Sat), we held a Sotoiwa reed super beginner practice session at Mt. Washizu.
The beginner practice sessions that have been held so far are not “beginners”! !
Based on this opinion, we set up a new “super beginner” and carried out with the goal of carefully climbing easy-to-climb challenges.
However, it is the nature of climbers to want to challenge difficult grades.
After climbing the single table, I finally tried 5.10a.
The name of the assignment was “Sunfish”. It is named because the shape of the rock resembles it.
Bad for a healing name.
From the beginning, the middle stage is poorly held, and it is difficult to clear.
Even if you use your specialty moves and moves that make full use of your reach, you can’t clear it.
It is tossed by sunfish. . .
After that, I put a rope on the 5.9 task, thinking that I should finish the climb comfortably at the end, but this is also bad.
Unfortunately, this is also homework.
Eagle head. There is a unique and interesting route.
A rocky place where 12 routes were drawn for the first time in Japan.
There are various challenges other than the main area, and it is a compact but fun rocky place.
Tomorrow, May 3rd, we will also hold a super beginner practice session at Mt. Washizu.
We are still recruiting, so if you are interested, please come by.

5/28 (Sun) Sotoiwa Multi-Practice Meeting
On Saturday, April 22nd, we held a Outdoor leadclimbing practice session at Ogawayama.
It was still before business, but the parking lot was full. Probably there were many climbers and boulders.
The weather was fine and the rock conditions were good, so we enjoyed it at a good timing.
This time we climbed the first rocks “Phoenix Rock” and “Gamas Slab”.
Both of them have easy-to-understand approaches and range from easy to difficult problems, so we recommend them. And is it photogenic?
Mainly on the slab problems, and also on the hanging wall. Long time? It was a granite slab, but everyone was good at it.
we had a bit of a hard time with the short hanging wall ~. An problem that you either love or hate.
we had a lot of fun.
There are 6 participants this time. There were many girls. Cheerful climbing while chatting from beginning to end.
We had a great time.
We hold climbing practice sessions using ropes in outdoor fields. Lead climbing, multi-pitch climbing, crack climbing.
There are 2 courses for lead climbing: [Super Beginner Practice Meeting] and [Practice Meeting].
For those who are just starting climbing, such as those who want to step up from walking to rocky ridge variations, and those who want to practice leading and mastering on an easy route, [Lead Climbing Super Beginner Practice] Meeting] is recommended.
All necessary gear (shoes, helmet, harness, chalk) can be rented (550 yen per item).
If you have climbing experience at a bouldering gym or a lead gym, but have no experience with outside leads, we recommend the [Lead Climbing Practice Meeting] for beginners.
